The product
01What is Culture Compass?
Culture Compass is strategic intelligence software from Redbird Group. Enter your organization and it reads your public record, scores you from 0 to 100 on the Seven Core Codes with cited evidence, benchmarks you against organizations like yours, and delivers a plan you can start the same day. It is built for churches, ministries, nonprofits, companies, and public figures.
02What are the Seven Core Codes?
Seven questions every organization is already being asked by its audience: Purpose & Values, Audience & Community, Content & Creativity, Brand Voice & Storytelling, Platform Presence & Consistency, Engagement & Community Building, and Growth & Impact Strategy. Each is scored from three to five weighted subdimensions, and each subdimension is scored only from cited evidence.
03How is this different from hiring a strategy firm or an agency?
A strategy firm reads the same public record over several weeks and hands you a deck. Culture Compass does the reading, scoring, and planning in under an hour, shows the evidence behind every sentence, and costs what a single organization can act on. Redbird's own strategists use it as the first step of an engagement; the Executive tier adds their review to the report.
04Does it work for churches and ministries?
Yes. Churches and ministries were the first organizations it was built for. The lens changes with the kind of organization: for a church it looks for service times, a plan-a-visit path, sermon and podcast rhythm, and what the community says; for a ministry it looks at programs, partners, and documented impact. Peers and percentiles are drawn from the same category.
05Does it work for companies, nonprofits, and public figures?
Yes. Each kind of organization gets its own lens: what platforms matter, how peers are defined, and what evidence counts. A company is read against pricing, proof, and buyer channels; a nonprofit against donors, programs, and transparency; a public figure against owned channels, earned media, and audience response.
06Is this just a summary of my website?
No. Culture Compass reads your site and feeds, then goes looking for what everyone else says: press, reviews, forums, video, podcasts, and the category around you. It measures your channels directly. Every page is checked to make sure it is about you and not someone with your name. Then it scores against a fixed rubric, and a separate critic pass tries to break every conclusion before you see it.
07Who is this for?
Organizations, leaders, and brands that are known enough to have a public record: churches, ministries, nonprofits, companies, and public figures. If you have a website and at least one channel people can find, there is enough to assess.
08Who built it?
Culture Compass is a Redbird Group product. Redbird is a strategic-communications firm in Nashville; the Seven Core Codes are the framework its strategists use with clients, made available at a price a single organization can act on.
Scores and evidence
09What is a good Culture Compass score?
Scores are absolute, on a 0 to 100 scale. 90 to 100 is exceptional and independently corroborated; 75 to 89 is strong with minor gaps; 55 to 74 is a solid foundation with clear gaps; 35 to 54 is weak or inconsistent; below 35 is largely absent. Well-known organizations in the public samples land in the 60s and 70s. Colors rank priority rather than judge: the two lowest codes are red, the middle three yellow, and the top two green only when they clear 90.
10What does the composite score mean?
The composite is the average of the seven code scores. It is placed on a percentile among organizations of your kind, so you can see whether a 64 is typical or exceptional for a church, a nonprofit, or a company at your stage.
11How accurate are the scores?
Each score is the weighted mean of subdimensions scored only from cited claims, and every subdimension shows its evidence and confidence. Where the public record is thin, the report says so instead of guessing. Percentiles are labeled estimated until enough organizations in your category have been assessed.
12What if something in the report is wrong?
Click Dispute next to the claim. A strategist reviews it, corrects the report if needed, and you see the resolution. Reports are living documents, not one-time PDFs.
13Where does the evidence come from?
From the public web, read as a logged-out visitor: your own website and feeds, your channels where they expose numbers (YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, Apple Podcasts), and then press, reviews, forums, video, podcasts, and category research. A typical 360 rests on two to four hundred cited claims from thirty to sixty sources. Nothing behind a login is read.
Buying and delivery
14How much does Culture Compass cost?
Four depths of the same report: the Scorecard is $495, the 360 is $1,495, the Executive is $2,995, Pulse is $299/mo or $2,990/yr. Every tier runs the same research engine and the same Seven Core Codes; the tiers change how far the report goes and whether a strategist reviews it. The invited rate on the 360 is applied automatically at checkout for organizations we invite.
15What is the difference between the Scorecard, the 360, the Executive, and Pulse?
The Scorecard gives you the seven scores with evidence, a benchmark, a sentiment snapshot, and immediate recommendations. The 360 adds seven deep dives, the competitive landscape, a 24-week plan, a three-to-five-year scenario, copy drafted in your voice, a presentation deck, and exports. The Executive adds a Redbird strategist's review and a walkthrough call. Pulse is a subscription that keeps the report current with a monthly signal update and a quarterly rescan that shows what changed.
16How long does it take?
Most assessments finish in twenty to forty minutes. You get an email when yours is ready. The Executive tier adds a strategist's review, which usually lands within two business days.
17Is there a guarantee?
Yes. If the report does not earn its price, tell us within 14 days and we will refund it in full. Email the address on your receipt and we will take care of it without a form to fill in.
18What happens after I buy?
You answer a five-minute intake: your name, website, the channels you own, and the people you serve. Research starts immediately and you can watch it progress. When the report is ready you get an email, and the interactive report, PDFs, deck, calendar, and task list are waiting in your dashboard.
19Can I share the report?
Yes. The interactive report has a share link, the executive and full PDFs download, the deck exports as a presentation, and the plan exports as calendar events and a task list with owners.
Privacy and access
20Do I have to give you access to my accounts?
No. Culture Compass only reads what a logged-out visitor can see. You never hand over passwords or connect accounts; the report shows you exactly what the public sees.
21Is my report private?
Yes. Your report is visible only to you and to the strategists who work on it, unless you create a share link. Sample reports on well-known organizations are published only when an admin marks them as public samples.
22What language is the report in?
Reports are written in English. The engine reads the public web as a logged-out visitor, so any organization with a public presence can be assessed.
